FreeRip – Easy CD to MP3 ripping

Its been years since I needed to rip any CDs, though recently I needed to rip a CD from one of my bands since we wanted to offer a few of the songs for sample downloads. So I went online and stumbled around to see what would be a good tool to do just that. Then I found FreeRip, and I must say – these tools have come a long way since I last tested one. Within minutes I had ripped the songs I needed, and that without any problems at all. The program also supports other formats, though my experience with these are zero-to-none. If you need a light-weight ripper tool, then this is what you should aim for.
