Hi, and welcome to my little place online. This webpage has been put up to first and foremost tell a bit about myself, as well as show samples of my work. But first things first, my name is Kjell Arne Brudvik – and I was born 19th of November 1981 in Tønsberg, Norway. Ever since I was a child I always was interrested in design and later on programming. Through the years I’ve learned and dived into a wide diversity of programming languages, and some of the languages and techniques I master today are:

• Java (Console and GUI)
• Java Server Pages (JSP)
• JavaScript (JS)
• Tool Command Language (TCL)
• Visual Basic 3, 4, 5 and 6. (VB)
• Visual Basic .NET (VB.NET)
• Active Server Pages (ASP)
• C#
• PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP)

At the same time I have a great passion for delivering good looking applications/web-solutions – hence I also spend quite a bit of time making sure that what I deliver look as good as I can master myself. I’ve spent countless hours diving into the fabolous world of design, and combining Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator – I usually start out my project by creating a design that suits the project, and code for that. To sum up; my expertise ranges between these tools:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Flash (rarely attending projects with Flash involved these days)

When it comes to databases; my knowledge ranges from:

• Oracle
• MySQL
• MSSQL

I am also experienced in different server configurations; both on Windows and Linux (slackware and ubuntu). Mostly aimed towards web-server experience, though also some experience in configuring other aspects of a server, for instance SVN and FTP configuration. When it comes to webservers I prefer running either Apache (PHP) or Apache Tomcat (JSP). Usually the latter one if its possible.
