As a follow-up to the post I did earlier today I made 5 more of the social icons. This time in a round fashion with slight reflection. Thus, these icons would fit best at a white background. If you tend to use them on other backgrounds, then the PSD file is attached so you can easily alter the images. This time the size is 72×100 px.

Social Icons – a free icon set

I figured since I now and then have some spare time, and the urge to try out something new every now and then, then I figured it could very well be shared with others so that they can use and benefit from it. This PNG set contains 5 files in 72×72 size. Covering; Facebook, Twitter, RSS, LinkedIn and Sitemap. It also comes with the PSD source so you can quickly and easily add more variations, tweak whats inside for your own usage.

I’ve taken a clear and recognizable format on these icons, using only text for the content.

I stumbled onto this webpage while I was searching for something else, and thought it was a rather interresting concept. It’s a deep-driller, in the term that it will find all information about a certain webpage that it can drill down to. There’s quite a bit of information you can manage to find; everything from site spesific information, to company details, nameservers, similar sites and technical configuration. Though what is even more interresting, it combines all of this and calculate the social popularity, traffic statistics and even who is associated of that particular site. You can even find direct blog posts and comments that is related to that site.
